Why can't you get thing done?
There are several roofs, consequences, and solutions over this type of mood-swinging issues which you just Can't make any move right away based on my mood right now!
Reasons
Firstly and probably, it would be because of pressure. You might not have got first thing done before going to another thing done. As you have been thinking of what should have been done over a period of time, but it turns out that you haven't achieved; thing goes wrong. Sooner or later, the feeling of pressure of the time you have been wasting is hunting you. And, the consequence reminds depression which leads you to be lost, hopeless, and upset for no particular reasons.
Second factors can be the connection between your physic, your cognitive, and your socioemotion. These three at this moment are not well-connected. The excess or lack of something creates conflict. Let me make it simple. Once you have been doing so well with people surrounding you, but it might not be what I really want to do, or you feel really good to about. It is like self-conflict of your own interest. This can be the cause of peer pressure; thus, you are losing your thought, your sense as well as yourself abstractly.
Last but not least, you are inadequate of commitment. In doing thing to be accomplished, one should have a strong commitment even it it is a small thing or big; here it is said "No will, No way". Therefore, without solid commitment to whatever you do, small things becomes big things.
Solutions
Throughout your all six senses, choose one at least to alter your mood, and bare in mind that both good and bad memories, good and bad imaginations bring positive or negative outcome. It depends on your past, your present, and your future.
Here are some techniques to deal with your feeling
1. Bring back your motivation, how?
2. Start up doing sth different, how?
3. Get yourself out of current zone, how?
4. Stay focused, how?
5. Recall your yesterday moment
6. Build tomorrow anticipation
7. Treasure this moment
8. Do what you like to do the most
9. Go and talk with those you trust
10. Act kindness
11. Just smile for no reason
